Marsh Sanctuary is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. It is administered by a board of directors as outlined in the Marsh Sanctuary by-laws. The board of directors is responsible for the legal and administrative decision making for the Sanctuary.
Volunteer committee members are responsible for coordinating projects and activities for the sanctuary as directed by the board of directors. The sanctuary is blessed to have such a great group of interested and talented individuals who volunteer their time and energy for the betterment of the sanctuary.
The maintenance team consists of two paid individuals who provide the physical labor to keep up the sanctuary property and trails. The maintenance of the sanctuary is a seemingly never ending task. Not only do they keep the sanctuary in good shape but they are also constantly taking actions to make the sanctuary a better place. Please see a list of our team members below with a short biography detailing their interst and hopes for the sanctuary.
We are always looking for additional volunteer support to help the sanctuary grow. Your contribution will help provide a place of sanctuary not only for the plants, animals, and other living organisms who live in the sanctuary but also the people of our community.
