WELCOME TO THE MARSH SANCTUARY
The Marsh Sanctuary is a 156-acre nature preserve with trails, open space, a community garden, and a commitment to the protection of wildlife. It is home to the largest freshwater marsh in Westchester County. It also provides a critical link to the Bedford Greenbelt of conservancies that includes the Mianus River Preserve, Westmoreland Sanctuary, Butler Nature Conservancy, Merestead, the Eugene and Agnes Meyer Preserve and Leonard Park.
The Sanctuary is open to the public from dawn to dusk 365 days a year, free of charge. We hope you will bring your friends and family to enjoy a nature walk on our hiking trails or relax in our open meadow. DUE TO RAIN, THE 4TH ANNUAL RAISE THE ROOF WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 21, 2024.
