The Rewilding School's Fall Festival at Marsh Sanctuary

The Rewilding School organized our first ever Family Fall Fest where people of all ages came together at Marsh Sanctuary to connect with the land.  Through activities like foraging walks, campfire cooking, basket making, games, and nature storytime we were able to bring in over 58 families and over 150 people during the course of the two day festival.  Everyone walked away with a free native food tree or t-shirt and we were able to raise some money for our first ever access fund to allow people to attend programs at a discount.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VISIT!

The Marsh Sanctuary is a 156-acre nature preserve with trails, open space, a community garden, and a commitment to the protection of wildlife.  It is home to the largest freshwater marsh in Westchester County. The Sanctuary is open to the public from dawn to dusk 365 days a year, free of charge. We hope you will bring your friends and family to enjoy a nature walk on our hiking trails or relax in our open meadow.

The Marsh Sanctuary is a US-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
